We got our boat!

The day finally came. We got our future liveaboard boat on November 26, 2024!

We have been talking about being liveaboards for 20 years and the real start of the journey has now begun. We purchased a 2010 North Pacific 43. Her name will be Aurelia (Aven’s middle name). She has 2 staterooms (bedrooms), 1 head (bathroom), salon (living room), galley (kitchen), pilothouse (where you drive from), cockpit (outside, back space), and flybridge (another place to drive from - upstairs, outside).

We have been eyeing North Pacific boats at the boat shows for about 15 years. Every time we stepped aboard one, we felt a nice, relaxing, calming feeling. We’ve been talking with Trevor Brice (the owner of North Pacific Yachts) for many years about wanting to be liveaboards on one of his boats. So, when the time came to look for a boat, we used Trevor as our broker.

We found a different boat first, but ended up backing out of that deal after the survey (inspection). At the same time, this boat came up for sale & we jumped on it and had an accepted offer the next day!
